What is MEXT?
MEXT is Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The MEXT Scholarship supports international students who want to study in Japan.
- There are two main ways to apply as University Recommendation (through the university you apply to, like the University of Tsukuba) and as Embassy Recommendation (through the Japanese Embassy in your country)
Why SRP?
By joining the Medical SRP Program at the University of Tsukuba, you’ll have the chance to directly talk with professors (PIs), ask questions, and share your research ideas. This experience makes preparing for the MEXT Scholarship application much smoother and less stressful.
